Red Snow Mines Solutions is committed to Responsible Mining.
Our reputation as a responsible corporate citizen is central to our values and essential to the long-term success of our business. We aim to build lasting relationships and create shared value with our local communities and stakeholders.

We operate in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations in all jurisdictions where we do business and are dedicated to continuously improving our sustainability performance. Our policies and procedures are aligned with international best practices and standards for social and environmental responsibility, helping us meet our objectives and targets effectively.

To ensure accountability, management regularly monitors, reviews, and publicly reports on our performance.

We have established a Responsible Mining Policy that outlines our specific commitments to responsible practices. This is supported by our Responsible Mining Framework, which serves as a comprehensive, centralized reference for our approach to sustainable development.

Focused on the Future: Red Snow Mines Solution’s Sustainability Strategy

As our mining operations expand, we are committed to advancing Responsible Mining to address climate change, meet the rising metal demands of a green economy, and respond to evolving stakeholder expectations.

Few years back, we launched a comprehensive initiative to refine our sustainability approach and craft a long-term strategy. We established a cross-functional Sustainability Task Force in 2022 to guide this effort.

With leadership backing, the Task Force conducted a detailed materiality assessment to pinpoint sustainability topics critical to our operations, aligned with our Responsible Mining Commitment and areas of greatest positive impact.

This assessment integrated the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Framework, industry best practices, and ongoing initiatives at our Nigerian and global operations, prioritizing local community empowerment and sustainable economic growth.

The outcome is Vision for Tomorrow: Our Sustainability Strategy.  Our guiding mission: Mining responsibly to build a sustainable future.  To fulfill this mission, we’ve outlined five interconnected pillars, visualized in a linked graphic to reflect their integration.
